As a facility manager, you are required to hold many skill sets and often to serve as a project manager for an extensive remodel or even for smaller projects. Regardless of the size of the project, you need to have the tools to effectively and successfully manage it. Restaurants can be extremely challenging to upgrade and renovate. Even smaller projects, such as a kitchen ceiling replacement or a large equipment install, can create challenges and even close a restaurant if the project is not managed correctly. This lesson will focus on the time after the project budget has been approved and the project has been released to the facility manager to execute. We'll also look at some key earlier steps that are essential for project success.
